day three

My life seems to center around my laptop these days. In the last 24 hours I have filed my 2007 income taxes, updated my resume and sent very important e-mails to my daughter, Chelsea, the guardian-ad-litum and my attorney.
Chelsea is playing softball and I haven't been allowed to go to a game. She has had an amazing ability to hit since she was a wee child. This skill did not come from my side of the family. Hopefully someone is there to cheer her on!
While on the subject... K.J. should be playing baseball. Who knows!
I sure do miss getting to be a Daddy!!!

I have been reading the blogs of a few people lately. Some of these folks are quite eloquent. If I could only read one, it would probably be Patrick Mead's. He is the minister of the Rochester church in Michigan. I have a feeling that our new preacher, Josh Ross, will use his congregation as an example of what my congregation(Sycamore View church of Christ) can be!

Hey there. I'm new to Sycamore myself. Do you know our new pastor yet? He visited 18 months ago?

Well... we didn't hire a pastor, we have elders for that. We did hire a preacher name Josh Ross from Houston. Our last preacher left almost 18 months ago.
